Elle Fanning (PHOEBE LICHTEN)
Energetic, lively and bright are just a few words that describe nine year old Elle Fanning. Elle made her feature film debut in New Line Cinema’s I AM SAM. She then co-starred opposite Eddie Murphy in the family comedy DADDY DAY CARE, which earned her her first nomination for a Young Artists Award.
In 2004, Elle starred alongside Jeff Bridges and Kim Basinger in THE DOOR IN THE FLOOR, directed by Tod Williams. She followed that up with BECAUSE OF WINN-DIXIE. In 2006 she was nominated twice more for a Young Artists Award for her performances in the Academy Award Nominated film BABEL, starring Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett and also for her work on the SCI-FI channel mini-series THE LOST ROOM, starring Peter Krause.
In 2006 Ms. Fanning also completed work on the films RESERVATION ROAD and THE CURIOUS CASE OF BENJAMIN BUTTON. She most recently finished work on the film THE NUTCRACKER: THE UNTOLD STORY.
In addition to her film credits, Elle has also made numerous television appearances. She has been in both “CSI: MIAMI” and “CSI: NEW YORK,” as well as guest starring on “House,” “Criminal Minds,” “Judging Amy” and “Dirty Sexy Money.”
